Anonymous and Angry: Why Internet Rage is Bad for Everyone

If you ever doubt the empirical fact of total depravity, please, spend a few hours scouring our comment section—or any comment section. Your belief in humanity will faulter. Your belief in total depravity will be reconfirmed. It turns out internet rage is actually bad for everyone, though, both for the commenter and the one reading and receiving the comment.

For a long time, the worst thing you could be from a psychological standpoint was “repressed.” Freud, picking up from Aristotle and other so-called sages, thought that “bad” feelings in you were like a poison that needed to be “vented.” This venting or purging was considered healthy. Aristotle, and Freud too, called it “catharsis.”

Well, as you might expect, it turns out that the idea of catharsis is total horse manure. In fact, recent studies (like this one) indicate that cathartic venting makes you more likely to have stronger bad feelings in the future, and more likely to act on them. (A great article on catharsis, by David McRaney, can be found here on his blog.) It turns out that “cooling off,” “calming down,” and “clearing your head” are much more healthy responses to anger and frustration. They are not as immediately gratifying, of course. But, in the long-term, they produce a healthier emotional and psychological environment.

Which is why internet rage, especially the anonymous kind, is so damaging. It seems like the perfect place and time to vent. No one knows it’s you. You aren’t actually hurting someone, after all, right? Sticks and stones and all that stuff…

Well, but you are hurting people. Yourself, for one. Studies, common sense, biblical religion, and your mom tell you that anger just leads to more anger. The person who gives in to anger finds it more and more difficult not to give in.

And eventually your temper can ruin your life, like a trap just waiting to be set off. You mouth off to your boss or have a terrible attitude with him—and get fired. This makes you angry. So you beat your wife—and she leaves. This makes you even more angry. So you go to the bar to lick your wounds, and someone bumps into you. The time bomb goes off again. You get into a fight. You get arrested for assault.

Maybe your whole life then becomes a cycle of violence. You think you’re the victim, because you have no control over how you feel. It must be everyone else’s fault. It’s not you. Or maybe you learn to control your violence and live a life of quiet and pathetic frustration. Either way, this is not a pleasant or healthy way to live. For your own sake, and for the sake of others—learn to control your spirit. Learn to defuse internet rage. Don’t feed it.

So, my loyal readers. I know my opinions and the things I dredge up from the cesspools of world news can really get under your skin. But, for at least your own sake, don’t vent. Internet rage doesn’t help anything. It doesn’t solve the problem. And it just makes everyone miserable in the process.

  1. I don’t see depraved comments on conservative web blogs. Just stupid opinions sometimes. I do see filthy comments on the You Tube comment section. I am glad for the internet. It has allowed us to send information in a speedy manner. I believe if not for the internet, obama would have already taken over like Castro and we’d all be totally oppressed much worse than we are now. The Lord has provided a way for us to help each other through the internet.

    • I couldn’t do justice to all of the calumnious personal remarks directed by you Christians toward me personally in one sitting. You people have invited me to hate you through your course of conduct, and not without cause. Deceitful. Liars. So hypocritical, Jesus would have to apologize to the Pharisees. You don’t see them because you either haven’t looked or have become inured to them.

The Internet is what it is, though. I accept it as a war zone.

      • I truly an sorry for the things that have happened to you and the things that have been said by others to you. Please try to remember one thing…not every person that says they are a Christian…truly are. God bless you and I pray that you find kindness in your life instead of hatred!

        • Angel: “Please try to remember one thing…not every person that says they are a Christian…truly are.

Jesus was a flaming socialist and by that metric, everyone on the Right fails that test by definition. Moreover, if one were to use your measure, you could hold a fully-attended national conference of Christians in a VW microbus. In the words of Chesterton, “The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and left untried.”

On the subject of Christians, I am a Calvinist; think the worst of them, and you will always be right and never be disappointed. If I couldn’t handle that, I wouldn’t be here. But for Sam to say that he doesn’t read “depraved comments” on these blogs is to admit that he is either willfully blind or hopelessly dyslexic.

All I expect in this life is what your god promised and failed to deliver.

          • I’m sorry you feel that way. It;s not GOD who is failing to deliver it’s PEOPLE, FREE WILL and EVIL. So the more who follow Satan via free will, the less you have people helping people. The more people who throw up their hands and quit, like you, the more everything GOES to hell. Jesus was not a socialist in government situations. He said to render up to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God that which is Gods. He told Hid followers to show love and help those less fortunate. NOT the government. He said those who would not work should not eat and called every man to be the head of his own household and take care of his wife and children and to be faithful to his wife and children and for the wife to be faithful to him.

I don’t see allot of that and in fact, have been the recipient of unfaithfulness & abuse. But it all depends on the relationship you have with Jesus and whether you have an ear to hear His voice as to what you do, how you think and act. We all have to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling so in that event, I wish you well.

          • Angel: “Jesus was not a socialist in government situations.

It is impossible for anyone to say that with even a scintilla of confidence. First and foremost, Jesus was himself a part of a commune, as Judas held the common purse; the arrangement carried over to his followers, who also commingled their funds (see, the tale of Ananias and Sapphira). The Jewish kibbutz is the first recorded socialist community, and Jesus embraced it. To extrapolate that to how Jesus would feel about welfare and Obamacare is folly.

Angel: “He said those who would not work should not eat

Actually, that was Paul in a letter to the Thessalonians. You should at least study your Bible before you preach it to us, don’t you think? Jesus didn’t work; he lived off the labor of others.

The Jews had a practice called jubilee, which kept the rich from getting too rich. But it is hard to fault those who can’t find work for not working, unless you authorize them to take a portion of your land to farm. Can’t have it both ways.

          • All of the Word of God was inspired by the Holy Spirit. I believe that Jesus DID work. He was a carpenter. It was only the last 3 years of His life and times were different back then. Villages and cities were so far apart.

I am not even going to comment on the rest BECAUSE… there is no changing a mind that is set and knows it all. So, I will leave you to your beliefs.

          • Angel: “Villages and cities were so far apart.

Just one of the many reasons why the NT tales are blatant fabrications. In canonical Matthew, the “Endeka” (all of the disciples, save for Judas) fled Jerusalem for fear of reprisal by the authorities, and allegedly encountered the risen Jesus on a hill in Galilee. By contrast, in canonical Luke, the Endeka never left Jerusalem, allegedly venturing to the Temple on a daily basis. The last Gospel, John, attempted to desperately reconcile the two, but in a totally risible way: the disciples would have had to travel at least 200 miles in five days, without money (Judas made off with the common purse), to make all three tales even possible.

Your Word is inspired, but demonstrably untrue? How does that work out, Angel?

          • So true. The devil wants us to give up. He will throw things in our path to discourage us and make us quit trying. We can’t let him have our souls.

          • I can see you need to be a victim. Ok, be a victim. You are an excellent example of what the author wrote this really necessary article for. Angel is very sweet and you just needed to hurt her. Wow. You’re just sad.

          • this is a troll seen before by different names but the same technique. Do not wast your time and this is not a real person but a game player.

          • sorry i do not believe you and you troll like activities tell a different story on this and other sites.

          • And you probably don’t believe in global warming, either. Fere libenter homines id quod volunt credunt.

          • what i believe is not your concern. Please understand you are a wast of time for me

As I believe in truth and science

          • because you actions are so troll like as is you denial enough do not wast any time i have to write my columns.

          • I’m a Christian conservative, but this is at least the THIRD time you have misspelled “waste” as “wast”, among other grammatical and spelling errors.

          • He’s not a fool.

“Fere libenter homines id quod volunt credunt”.YOU certainly do.

            QUIS ut DEUS.Not you Dude.

Ubi ubi es me sububi is more your speed.

          • Jesus was not a socialist. Whatever made you think that? I know he wasn’t because everyone has to accept Him as an individual, not as a collective. We are personally responsible to God who sees us as separate human beings. One reason you are so unhappy is because of your attitude and I suspect also your behaviors. God doesn’t chase after you. YOU have to come to Him! Start reading and studying His word. Read history. Educate yourself. Your eyes will open and you will grow both spiritually, mentally and emotionally. You can blame others until the cows come home and you will be an old man spinning your wheels.

          • Sam: “Jesus was not a socialist. Whatever made you think that?

The New Testament. You have read it, have you not?

If you were right, Jesus would sound a lot more like this:

Sam: “Start reading and studying His word.

Start??? I spend more time correcting pig-ignorant Xians like you these days, but I assure you that I am well-versed.

            Read history.

Et tu, Brute? How about the history of the Hittites, who could not possibly have sold a burial cave to Abram, as they did not even exist as a kingdom at the time? Again, I am well-versed.

Sam: “Educate yourself. Your eyes will open and you will grow both spiritually, mentally and emotionally.

Which is why I am no longer a Christian. When I educated myself, I noticed that the contradictions in the tales could not be reconciled.

          • Jesus was for individuals helping those who are truly less fortunate, NOT the government stealing from hardworking people and redistributing the stolen goods to lazy able-bodied freeloaders. Also our government only helps those who have made bad irresponsible decisions. We give handouts to single mothers instead of penalizing fathers for leaving the mothers of their children.

          • Julia: “Jesus was for individuals helping those who are truly less fortunate, NOT the government stealing from hardworking people and redistributing the stolen goods to lazy able-bodied freeloaders.

Perhaps you could tell that to your fellow Christian BigD, who follows me around because he can’t find work as a truck driver. If you have eight jobs for every ten men, the fact that two of them can’t find work is hardly their fault.

If there were a just God, you would find yourself on hard times, and have to taste the bitter fruit of your ChristiaNazi arrogance for yourself.

          • Maybe if liberal laws weren’t taxing employers to death making it difficult for them to afford to employ people, there would be more jobs. The money would be paying for productivity instead of paying people for making irresponsible immoral decisions like having kids out of wedlock. This goes for citizens and illegals. And nothing I said had anything to do with Nazi philosophies or arrogance. That is completely irrational.

          • The rich aren’t being taxed to death. Back in 1960, the top tax rate was 91%.

Julia: “The money would be paying for productivity instead of paying people for making irresponsible immoral decisions like having kids out of wedlock.

Okay, let’s pay for abortion on demand; it’s a lot cheaper.

          • Awwwwww did Big Bad God hurt your feewings ? He said He would send us out amongst the lions. This is a world broken by Original and subsequent sin.

            Get over yourself.

Most men lead lives of quiet desperation(Thoreau),but a remnant of Christians persevere in FAITH. You want HEAVEN on EARTH but you’re not going to get it-we are ALL sinners and that includes whiny little you.

          • “Christianity makes a mockery of God. At the same time that Christians claim to worship God as an omnipotent, omnipresent, omnibenevolent being, they make him out to be incompetent bumbler. Or worse. Simple forgiveness is beyond his capacities. God must “sacrifice himself to himself to change a rule he made himself!”

This is not only an absurdity, it is an essential absurdity. It is present in almost almost all forms of Christianity, and one can scarcely remove it and remain a Christian in anything but name. By definition, all Christians worship Christ – in some form – and most worship him as a saviour.

But what, exactly, is he saving us from? Though it varies from church to church, no matter what they call it, it’s God himself. A hell created by God, a world fallen as a result of God’s negligence, a separation from God imposed… by God.

Christianity certainly isn’t the first religion to promote appeasement of its gods, and if it were merely another supernatural protection racket, it would be bad enough. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stop there. Christians elevate appeasement to the realm of “personal relationship”, transforming their religion into a true monstrosity.

This is the type of “relationship” that abused wives have with their husbands, that brainwashed hostages have with their captors. It is known in clinical circles as Stockholm Syndrome. Should it come as any surprise that the cries of the church, “The Bride of Christ” sound much like the cries of an abused wife attempting to protect her husband?

            “He must beat me.”

            “I deserve it.”

            “He has no choice.”

            “It’s for my own good.”

These excuses don’t work for human abusers, and they work even less well for God. For if God is omnipotent, he must have a choice. And if we are flawed, we are only flawed because that is the way he made us. (No excuses that we ruined his perfect creation. A truly perfect creation does not self-destruct.)

If the Christian God does exist – and I see no reason to believe that he does – he’s not worthy of the name.”

          • He gave us Free Will which caused the Fall.Believe it or not-no skin off my butt.

it is obvious from what you write thatyou are confining God to the limitations of the human situation. You judge God as if God were only a bigger version of yourself. Without faith, you can’t think outside of the human box. What for some appears to be sophistication, for those who believe appears a rather sad naiveté and anger that is expressed in sarcastic humor and sometimes bitterness.

That God loves us in an infinite way is impossible for us to fully grasp even with faith. It is only when one considers God’s willingness to join us in our human situation and allow himself to be tortured and put to death on our behalf that we get a handle on how much beyond our feeble minds his infinite love extends. Certainly, not everyone is privy to this. To have faith, one must have a humble awareness of one’s inadequacy and need for it.

I suggest TWO heaping tablespoons of humility.

          • Tweet: “Without faith, you can’t think outside of the human box.

Faith in what? Therein lies the rub. The good people of Heaven’s Gate had faith in the existence of a spaceship hiding behind Comet Hale-Bopp. They drank the Kool-Aid, and their next of kin buried them.

Why should anyone have faith in your psychotic ancient tribal sky-daddy, as opposed to his nearest competitor in the Middle East?

There are many (alleged) ways to escape the human box, with LSD coming immediately to mind (as I have had no personal experience with it, I cannot speak authoritatively). None of them are dependent on acceptance of the essential absurdities of ChristianInsanity.

T: “That God loves us in an infinite way is impossible for us to fully grasp even with faith.

I see no objective evidence to that effect; perhaps you are inclined to confuse anal rape with love.

T: “I suggest TWO heaping tablespoons of humility.

Think logically for a moment. It is your hubris that makes you think that we will survive our deaths, and that we are significant enough that the creator of the multiverse cares about us. He who is without sin may cast the first stone.

        • Not up to you Dear-to define who is and who is not.You have sinned through the Act of Presumptive Judgement.Repent.

          • I have said nothing here to have to repent OF! Read your Bible….you will know them BY THEIR FRUITS. The Lord said to judge with RIGHTEOUS judgment. It is also said to abstain from all appearances of evil. Now just how can you do that without judging the actions of another? The same way you judge their fruits.

I think you have allot to learn self righteous Tweety. LOL YOU repent and read your Bible.

        • Beedogs (looks like a quokka): “No one spews hate as well as a liberal atheist.

          Shakespeare’s Shylock responds:

“Hath not a Jew eyes? Hath not a Jew hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions? Fed with the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same means, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer, as a Christian is? If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us, do we not die? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?

If we are like you in the rest, we will resemble you in that. If a Jew wrong a Christian, what is his humility? Revenge. If a Christian wrong a Jew, what should his sufferance be by Christian example? Why, revenge. The villainy you teach me I will execute, and it shall go hard but I will better the instruction.

      • So now you are going to hold a grudge against everyone because your’re a victim? Please. I have been insulted and called names more times than I can remember because of my Christian beliefs. However, I don’t consider myself a victim at all and I don’t hate on everyone just because of the ignorant and ill mannered jerks out there. I haven’t done anything wrong to feel bad no matter what anyone says to me. They are the ones with the problem. If you are rebelling against God and failing in life, you only have yourself to blame. Change your thinking and you will change your life.

        • Sam, you said that you don’t see depraved comments. Is this because you deliberately turn a blind eye to them?

The ability to ignore indisputable facts is an essential skill for a born-again Christian.

          • “The ability to ignore indisputable facts is an essential skill for a born-again Christian” Also applies to yourself.
Can you prove this statement with real facts, not option, nor emotionalized rhetoric?
If not you are wasting time.

          • Asked and answered elsewhere, but I will repeat it for sake of illustration.

A rational man acknowledges the insuperable contradiction; a Christian trains himself to ignore it.

          • still waiting for first hand facts.
Your division is just a wast of my time.

  2. I totally agree with this. I have taken the time to cool down and as a Christian, I am careful about what I write. I have witnessed online about the Bible and when someone comes back saying derogatory things, I ignore their comments all together. I skim it and the first thing I see that is insulting, I completely leave it alone and most of the time, I won’t even answer.
I have been a Christian for 32 years and have read the Bible, I also take it just as it reads. If it said Don’t…I DON’T. I also don’t claim to know things that I don’t. So again, I always try to formulate my comments very carefully. I have been on the receiving end of hate. It’s not fun. There are probably many who might differ with my beliefs on things. But they are sure uneducated as to how to approach the conversation with a difference of opinion. I hope and pray this article will have some affect on those who read it and take it to heart.

After all, I am a “person” who is typining this and I have feelings too. The same as YOU!

    • “[I]n everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matt. 7:12.

This photo is the perfect response: http://www.lolwall.co/lol/267944

Angel, wost of us heathen don’t want to endure your “witness,” because Christians demonstrate to us so clearly through their lives that they have nothing of value to offer us. By way of example, whereas most of us are not discomfited in the least when Barry and Gary want to marry, the born-again crowd are out having kittens. You Christians profess love, but practice so much hatred. And thanks to your out-of-control Christian friends on this blog and elsewhere, there is far more arsenic in that well than water.

As James observed, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” Jas. 1:27. If Christians were more about practicing that religion than preaching one of their own concoction, we might be more amenable but as it stands, it is about the last message we have an interest in even tolerating.

      • Well, you are definitely talking to the wrong group then. As the Bible says no where to actually hate anything. And you are right, we are supposed to love our fellow man. But reject the lifestyles and behaviors that are sinful. So, if you equate what you do and how you live as who you are, that’s fine. I personally don’t. I see someone that needs to be helped/saved, and if showing them their ways are wrong offends them, tough. Tough love is what is needed sometimes. Truth hurts. And if you are equating all the people that “hate” you to the Westboro Baptist nutcases, then that’s quite a broad brush there.

As Jesus tells us in the Bible about people like you: “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” -John 15:18

        • buck: “ “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” -John 15:18

Problem is, you can’t really whine about it when you’ve done something to deserve it. Rom. 13:1.

buck: “And if you are equating all the people that “hate” you to the Westboro Baptist nutcases, then that’s quite a broad brush there.

A lot of people here aren’t all that far from Fred Phelps, truth be told.

buck: “I see someone that needs to be helped/saved, and if showing them their ways are wrong offends them, tough. Tough love is what is needed sometimes. Truth hurts.

Problem is, you have to have the truth in order to confront people with it, and you guys are notoriously short on it. You don’t believe in Bigfoot or Nessie on the grounds of a lack of credible evidence, so why should anyone believe in your missing-in-action messiah?

As the old Jewish Mother says, “If he cared, he’d come to visit every once in a while….”

      • And how do you know that we DON’T look after orphans and widows? I do and I AM both and my daughter was orphaned by her dad and I still help look after other orphans and widows.

The thing is my dear, in reading the Bible, try to understand that we are not perfect by any means. Christians can be the WORST kind of sinners. That is WHY we need Jesus. Secondly, if we see someone doing something that is against the mandates of God, we are to tell them because in Ezekiel 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him
not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to
save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

We HAVE to try to tell others about the Lord. The love that the Lord speaks of is agape love. Not wanting ANYONE to have to go to hell! That is why we are required to spread the gospel. That’s not saying that Christians are perfect or have it all figured out…that is only saying that we ALL need the Son of God to forgive us!!!!

        • Angel: “Christians can be the WORST kind of sinners.

I’d appreciate it if you picked a lane, Angel. If Christians can be the worst kind of sinners, then you really can’t tell the true one from the false ones.

Angel: “we ALL need the Son of God to forgive us!!!!

As your god can’t even bother with honoring his warranties, it doesn’t matter overmuch that the new man in Christ is, as you seem to concede, indistinguishable from the old. Either your god is spectacularly inept or incorrigibly selfish and arrogantly hypocritical. He should be begging for my forgiveness, rather than the other way around.

If I wanted a god who couldn’t keep his word, there is always Ba’al.

      • Would you find your own remarks acceptable if they read “you blacks” “you homos” “you micks” you Mexicans” “you Japs” You have no business castigating all for the actions of some. You might want to consider that what you are seeing is evidence that the person is not in fact a real Christian. You will know us by our fruit. Calling myself a Chinese widow doesn’t make me one. I am as Irish as you can be. And a fellow dissenter.

        • As they used to say in law school–and not really in jest–the actions of the 99% (the bad attorneys) made it hard on the 1% (the decent ones). In my experience, there are so few good Christians that they basically qualify as de minimis.

          • Some of my best friends are lawyers…….really. I often like lawyers. I worked among many for years. I don’t say there are so few anything, I find that just so narrow minded. and silly

          • Likeable? Yes. Glib? Yes. Honest and candid? Er, not so much. And our judges make lawyers seem like paragons of virtue.

          • Yes, only YOU are a true Christian, filled with love and tolerance. Judge not, least ye be judged. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone – hypocrite.

          • I don’t pretend to be a ChristiaNazi like you, but I can judge you because you have judged.

          • No, you only PRETEND to have a CLUE. While SOME that claim to be Christians behave as you claim, it isn’t anywhere CLOSE to a significant MINORITY, much less the vast majority you claim.

          • More like, close to 100%. Whenever you Christians try to distance themselves from the bad apples, you invariably find that you are in that “bad apple” bunch. 🙁

          • YOU falsely assume YOU have a clue who is and is not Christian. That makes YOU the worst apple anywhere near the bunch.

          • “Prove to me that you’re a Christian.” Back when I was one, a pastor friend asked me that question, and that question stuck with me. If you claim that you are one, I have to take that at face value.

          • Your comment has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING in the discussion. It does however serve as an ADMISSION that YOU are not qualified to judge who is, or is not a Christian. Thank you for conceding my point.

          • You missed the point. If someone says that he or she is a Christian, we have to accept that claim. You can’t prove to me that you are a Christian.

    • Amen. Pray for your enemies. Love one another. That does not mean we condone sin. He died for us while we were still sinners. “Venting” is simply not a Christian trait. I kept thinking about justified anger. Took me a while to learn that and now I am a better person. Moreover, I have a better relationship with others and Christ as a result.

        • Gee I think he was a little P.O’d with the moneychangers in His Father’s House. There is NOTHING wrong with RIGHTEOUS ANGER.

          • There is nothing wrong with righteous judgment either. That was GOD who overturned to tables of the money changers. He can do whatever He wants. He told US to be angry and SIN NOT!

            King James Bible Ephesians 4:26
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

          • He told US to be angry and SIN NOT!
You appear to miss that POINT of that command. If you are told to BE ANGRY and sin not, you are being told that ANGER is not a sin in all cases. Otherwise, the command would be self-contradictory. The verse you quote ORDERS us to ACT upon righteous anger. The question is HOW to act.

          • Uh…gee…what part of my post was Greek? Be angry…(righteous anger) and sin NOT (how to act) Do you really lack that much comprehension or do you just like to try and pick arguments? I have missed NO point of what the Scripture is saying. I comprehend quite well thank you. LOL

Sorry for the lengthy delay in my reply to this absurd retort to my post. I have had some deaths in my family.

          • Your post is what was absurd. Your reply is proof you failed to understand a word I said.

I DON’T apologize for the lengthy delay in y response, because I have better things to do than check these comments every day.

      • Hmmmmm… I think “Venting” is very much a human trait, which all Christian fall under. How you vent is can be different between people. Learning to step back, look things over, try to see things from your opponents point of view, thinking about what outcomes can happen from your actions – before taking action, and other steps that make you think before you speak and react. These are not trait unique to Christian, but I would say important to learn as a human and as a Christian.

Knowing the Bible, is a great tool to use to implement the skills listed above… There is not a story or event that happens today this is not some how or at some level covered in the Bible. Knowing the word is like exercising or training for these problems. When they come up you should be able to think through some example that have similar events in the Bible and think about how they were handled. Humans will never all get along and live in harmony, never. However, a good Christian will know how to survive with help from God’s word.

  3. WOW, this guy is a real educated idiot. He wants us all “cooling off,” “calming down,” and “clearing your head”. I believe that’s what our Founding Fathers did while they were Kissing the Crown’s ass. If you don’t want to hear the truth from people then don’t write a stupid article telling people what they are going to do. We get enough of that crap from the government.
People need a source to Vent and now you are one. Thanks…

  4. With an angry man keep no company, warns the Proverbs, as his wont is to rush headlong into snares.

  5. Reading the article made me angry. Less angry than the Obamanation of the new USSA, but angry. Anyone who is not angry is not paying attention. Just toke some Choom and cash the EBT check bro, why be mad?

  6. It would probably be a great thing if people spent at least an equal amount of time CONTACTING THEIR CONRESSIONAL REPS, GOVERNORS AND OTHER ELECTED OFFICIALS and vent directly to them, as opposed to taking all their frustrations out via posts. We all know the old adage;
“The squeaky wheel gets the oil.”
At least this is what I have determined to do.

  7. Another attack on the First Ammendment… having a different opinion from the commie state is just unacceptable.
