Forty-One Year Anniversary of Roe v. Wade

Tomorrow is the anniversary of the landmark decision in the Supreme Court that legalized the murder of unborn babies. It’s Roe v. Wade’s birthday. Although I think it would be perverse to call it that, since Roe v. Wade has as its sole purpose the revocation of birthdays. Since 1973, fifty-seven million unborn babies have been “aborted in the U.S. That’s fifty-seven million human possibilities dumped into the trash bin.

Is Roe v. Wade something to rejoice over? Some people think so. Some people fight tooth and nail to protect Roe v. Wade from any encroachment—even supporting partial-birth abortions to put a hedge around their favorite piece of legislation. But why? Why does anyone fight for abortion?

If it’s a women’s health issue or a women’s rights issue, why don’t feminists fight harder against the porn industry or our culture of male irresponsibility? Why don’t they convince women to value their bodies more? Don’t just give it away to every man who shows them half a wink of affection.

Why some men fight for abortion is obvious. The Bro-Choice Movement wants to keep treating women like disposable sex objects. So of course they support abortion on-demand. Abortion favors men who don’t want to be accountable for their actions. The single-mother epidemic is almost as bad as the abortion epidemic.

Then there are those few people who support abortion only in really difficult circumstances—when the life of the mother is in danger, or in cases of rape and incest. These people seem like the reasonable and compassionate ones. I don’t think they are.

The life of the mother argument relies on a medical professional’s judgement call. It could be wrong. It often is. My grandmother was told her youngest would die and kill her. The doctor urged her to consider abortion. ((Is it not crazy that there are grandmothers now who have given birth during the abortion era? We should all be thankful we survived.)) My grandmother refused. My Aunt Dana was born alive though a little sickly. She died a few years ago, but I cannot imagine my growing-up life without her. There may be cases where the doctor is right and the mother’s life is in danger. But giving birth is in itself a danger. That doesn’t give us the right to pick and choose whose life is more worth protecting.

And as far as rape and incest goes, abortion makes two victims where there was only one. I can’t condone condemning innocent people to death. And that is what we are doing with abortion.

Think about it. A culture that cries foul over the prolonged execution of a convicted murderer and rapist doesn’t even bat an eye at the painful execution of fifty-seven million of our only certainly innocent citizens. Lethal injection is humane compared to what they do to babies in the womb. Burning them alive in chemicals, tearing them to pieces, sucking them out with blender vacuums. It’s disgusting and vile. There is no excuse for it.

I’m thankful today for my stalwart mother and father. Because of their choice, I am an abortion holocaust survivor. I mourn for the millions who have not been so fortunate.

  1. maybe I’m a bit twisted, but maybe we should offer the mother an option to have the baby Lethal injected. If she picks it then starts feeling sick the Doctor can explain that is because the life inside you has been sharing life with you and is now share death with you…. Maybe then it will sink in to some of these people heads. OK, it is a bit of overkill, I just find it hard to believe people are willing to allow murder and call it choice…

  2. Those 57 million infanticides can be laid at the feet of the constitutional framers and everyone who has supported the Biblically seditious document they created. Harsh words? Yes, but it’s time we face up to it and repent of ours and forefathers’ sins.

The fact is, had the framers established government and society upon Yahweh’s immutable morality as codified in His commandments, statutes, and judgments (including Exodus 21:22-25), the vast majority of these murders would have never occurred. They certainly did not occur under the governments of, by, and for God, based upon His moral law in the 1600s?

    • Have you forgotten 1600’s Witch trials, bigoted exclusions of those who didn’t believe as the majority, etc. Our constitution and I’ve read many from other countries, is the best protection of basic human rights this world has ever known. We should study it and help other to understand it and demand that our government lives by it. I believe that our rapidly developing amoral society would sadden our founders who believed that our freedoms would only be kept by a moral society.

      • Not at all. Thanks for bringing it up and for helping to make my point. The Witch Trials only go to prove what occurs when man deviates in any fashion from Yahweh’s perfect standard (Psalm 19:7-11). Oh, and don’t forget, it was Puritan pastors who also condemned and put an end to those trials.

      • Deuteronomy 19: 16-19 says, “If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong; Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the Lord, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days; And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother; Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.”

How often did you hear about that Biblical principle being applied during the witch trials?

        • What would happen if ALL courts and ALL government were to institute Yahweh’s STANDARD?

Support ANY reply with Biblical stances on your ground in context without pitting scripture against itself.

          • If Yahweh’s standard were instituted, then victims, rather than bureaucracies, would decide who is forgiven.

  3. I was married to a girl who had an abortion before we met. She miss-carried our child and went straight into crazy land. “God was paying her back, she killed a baby so he took the one she wanted” After a few years I had to walk away and start life over.
The abortion her parents and the parents of her boy friend at the time forced her to have screwed her up. No one can tell me that abortions don’t damage the psyche of women, that is unless they are liberal hail Satanists like Wendy ” Abortion Barby Davis”

  4. “Roe v Wade” relied on the philosophy of the Greek Stoics followers of Zeus called by the Israelites of the bible – BAAL.

Yes, Americans, there is a religion forced upon you under your very noses – the clues of Alice in wonderland if you can them, but doubtfully her since you live in an illusion, might just lead you home to truth in Kansas. It’s Easy, but so easy it’s a challenge – why? Reason, and coming to this like a CHILD – Find some OLD law dictionaries and if you can find it – Words & Phrases, then find out what mans “LAW” – what it’s really saying, and that Clinton was not REALLY lying about everything – Just as in ‘Religion’ – People BELIEVE what they WANT instead of having a sincere LOVE of the TRUTH and finding unmovable foundations to rest and build their understandings from.
